How do I register to attend the EastWest Eye Conference?
There are THREE easy ways to register:
- Online at www.eastwesteye.org
- By mail – send payment with completed registration form to: EastWest Eye Conference, P.O. Box 6036, Worthington, Ohio, 43085
- By fax with credit card information to 614-781-6521
What are the registration fees and what does it include?
Registration fee includes access to all Exhibit Hall activities, sponsored events, and admission to the Friday Night Party.
OD Member (OOA, AOA, COA): $99
OD Non-Member: $175
Student/resident: $40
Allied Eye Professional: $69
Additional Allied Eye Professional from same office: $49 (registrations must be received together to qualify.)
What is the cost per credit hour of CE?
OD CE - $25 per credit hour
Allied Eye Professional (AEP) CE - $15 per credit hour
Workshops - $40 per credit hour
I am an AEP registrant. Can I take an OD course?
There are some OD courses that are also available to AEP registrants. If you are AEP and choose to enroll in an OD course, you must pay the OD price of $25 per credit hour.
What courses can students enroll?
Students are welcome to enroll in OD or AEP courses. However, because of limited space, students cannot enroll in workshops.
How do I know if the course I want to register for is approved for the CE I need?
CE Approval page will be provided in 2012.
What are important dates to remember?
September 3: Late registration fee of $25 begins.
September 14: Last day for cancellation with full refund (less $30 processing fee)
September 21: Pre-registration ends. All registration must be on-site with an additional $60 fee.
When will I receive my registration packet, name badge, course handouts, etc.?
Your registration packet, name badge and course tickets will be available on-site at the EastWest registration desk. All course handouts and evaluations will be available online before the conference. Please print only what you need and bring to EastWest with you.

What are the EastWest Eye Conference hotels and reservation deadlines?
Recommended hotels are the DoubleTree Hotel Downtown at Lakeside, Embassy Suites, and the Hyatt Regency Cleveland at the Arcade. Please see our Hotel page for more information.
Are there shuttle buses from the hotels to the Cleveland Convention Center?
While all hotels are within easy walking distance of the Cleveland Convention Center, a shuttle bus (EastWest Express) will run continuously between the Cleveland Convention Center and hotels. The shuttle will also provide transportation between the hotels and the Friday Night Party at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
What are the exhibit hall dates and times?

What are Sponsored Events?
Sponsored events are usually breakfast or lunch seminars that are sponsored by a company/vendor. Sponsored events are included with your registration fee; however, since space is limited you must pre-register on the registration from for the events you wish to attend. CE for the sponsored seminars may or may not be offered.
What is the Friday Night Party?
The exclusive Friday Night Party at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is optometry's social event of the year. You can expect live entertainment, music, and dancing at the party. Hors d'oeuvres and admission to the Hall of Fame exhibits are included. One ticket is included in your registration fee. Additional tickets are $49 each. Dress attire at the party is typically casual.
What is the EastWest Bookstore?
The EastWest Bookstore offers titles recommended by the EastWest faculty as well as other publications on a variety of topics. For your convenience, the bookstore is located in the Cleveland Convention Center and is open Thursday through Saturday.
What is the Poster Session?
One hour of CE will be available for doctors attending the Poster Session on Saturday from 9:00a.m. to noon during the time the authors are presenting their posters. If you wish to be a poster presenter, please see our online Posters page for more information.
