Michelle J. Buckland is an associate professor of clinical practice at Ohio State University College of Optometry. She received her Doctorate of Optometry in 2006 and her Masters of Science in vision science from Ohio State in 2008 in combination with the pediatric and binocular vision advance practice fellowship program. She has been on faculty at The Ohio State University since 2008. Dr. Buckland established young pediatric vision, binocular vision, and vision therapy services at 2 private practice locations in the greater Columbus area. She currently teaches didactically and clinically and serves as chief of the Vision Therapy service. She is an examiner for various research projects on amblyopia, myopia management, and concussion. Dr. Buckland has lectured nationally on pediatric eye care, amblyopia, traumatic brain injury, binocular vision, and vision therapy.
She continues to serve her community by presenting the Realeyes programs to local schools and is an InfantSee provider.
