This is a course designed for the OD along with their contact lens support staff to walk them first through the steps of scleral lens fitting then advancing into technological advances to make this process more simplified and accurate. Scleral lens fitting is becoming more and more common for the irregular cornea as well as for dry eye patients. Understanding how to fit these lenses in a busy clinic and utilize staff in the process will lead to faster patient throughput, better patient results and a fun team-based approach. Your patients will feel like VIPs and the OD and staff will have a happy patient that can regain quality of life from these sight-giving lenses.
