Future Optometrists

The EastWest Future OD Experience is designed to provide optometry students a preview of future practice and opportunities to connect with organized optometry. Current students will hear from Ohio Optometric Association (OOA) Leadership and Industry partners on the current state of Optometry and the importance of involvement. The EastWest Future OD Experience includes time in the Exhibit Hall led by OOA board members as well as participation in the EastWest Career Connection, an opportunity to network and meet with those seeking to hire.

The EastWest Career Connection event is an opportunity for ODs and optometry students to network and learn about open positions and partnership opportunities. Those looking to hire will wear badges/buttons stating their purpose. Participants will be able to post opportunities prior to the in-person event through the EastWest website.
